We are happy to announce the arrival of SL Benfica! The Portuguese record champion is one of the biggest clubs in the world and is joining TFC.

At The Football Club, we only work with committed partner clubs who, together with us, want to enter the metaverse and create a long-lasting digital ecosystem for their fan communities.
Unlike other blockchain projects, we want to add utility to our NFTs from the very beginning. It’s important to us that you don’t only own a simple JPG file, but you’re collecting a piece of your club’s history and benefit from the multiple utilities that our digital Jerseys will enjoy — they will be among the most valuable items in The Football Club Metaverse. So again, jersey = utility! Pretty simple, right?
Drop Details
All bags will contain three jerseys with different odds for the scarcities. Check out the latest Medium article on the bag structure update for more details.

The total number of each jersey can differ from player to player due to our randomizer. There will be players with more jerseys of a specific scarcity than other players.

Welcome SL Benfica Challenge
To celebrate the partnership and upcoming drop, each TFC Member can join the free SL Benfica challenge in which every participant will receive a special Benfica scarf.
Benfica will also be part of our new partner challenges every matchday, so stay tuned!
How to buy
The Waiting Room
One hour before the drop starts, you will be able to join the waiting room. There is no need to be the first, as everyone has the same chance to get a spot in line. Most of our recent item drops have sold out quickly, so the waiting room helps ensure that everyone interested has a fair and equal chance to purchase a bag.
Update Waiting Room:
For the first drop (SL Benfica), there will be one queue for all three bags. You’ll receive a starting number, and if you want to buy all the bags, you need to buy one first, then go to the second, and then the third.
The Queue
Two minutes before the drop, the system will randomly assign each collector in the waiting room a place in the queue. You will be informed about your spot and will be automatically redirected when it’s your turn to purchase. In cases when we sell out, your place in the queue will largely determine whether you’ll be able to purchase an item or not.
The Whitelist
Members on the whitelist need to join the waiting room too. When the drop starts, the members on the whitelist will be first in line.
What you need
To buy the bags at the TFC Marketplace, you need three things:
- A registered TFC account.
- A Blocto wallet is connected to your TFC account.
- You need to have FUSD in your Blocto wallet.

To buy the bags in the TFC App, you need a sufficient amount of coins. You can earn coins by playing challenges or easily buy them in the App via Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Team Allocation
We are not reserving any bags for the team but saving 250 for challenges and marketing! This means there won’t be any Duffle Bags allocated to internal team members. Of course, each team member will have the freedom to join the drop and purchase bags like every member if they decide to do so (no preferential queuing will be given) or buy on the marketplace.
